Each of our 6 unique boutique vacation rental suites, located just steps from historic Old Town, Albuquerque, are the perfect home base for exploring the best of the Southwest.
The Desert Compass property consists of one large main building with 4 suites (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs), and 2 independent casitas in separate buildings with 2 additional suites.
All of our suites feature original artwork, quality furnishings, saltillo tile, wood viga ceilings, memory foam mattresses, full kitchens with Hanselmann pottery and local coffee, private bathrooms, dining spaces, desert modern design, and luxury amenities.
Yucca Suite
Experience tranquil desert vibes in this simple space where every detail is perfectly and minimally designed. Light and bright, the Yucca Suite is a calm and serene spaced filled with neutral toned furnishings and art by Caroline Clark.

Cowgirl Suite
Curl up with a book or movie and enjoy having this extra large suite all to yourself. Colorful and moody, the Cowgirl Suite is a cozy cavelike space with artistic touches at every turn, including original pieces by Collette Marie and Spiced Ink.

Cactus Suite
Enjoy a luxurious experience night’s sleep among the treetops in the Cactus Suite, located on the upper floor of our main building. Overlooking the pool and gardens, with views of the Sandia Mountains, the Cactus Suite has been completely remodeled with luxury in mind, and featuring original artwork and a custom designed headboard by Jodie Herrera.

Luna Suite
Sip locally roasted coffee while watching the sunrise over the park from your private balcony, and stretch out in the spacious layout of one of our largest suites. For lovers of vintage southwest charm mixed with french victorian marble and gold details, the Luna Suite is a mix of old and new. Featuring the dreamy art of Dorielle Caimi and Christine Schwathe.

Rattlesnake Suite
Build a crackling piñon fire in your kiva fireplace, and kick up your feet while you enjoy the view from the full wall of windows looking out to the cactus garden. The Rattlesnake Suite is a cozy space with charm in every detail, with hand-painted wallpaper and murals by Honor Heindl, and a 12 foot New Mexican landscape painting from Jesse Littlebird.

Coyote Suite
Enjoy a truly luxurious and artistic experience in our most elegant and private suite. The Coyote Suite features a deluxe four-poster King bed, private yard and patio with swing chair, large bathroom with tadelakt shower and deep soaking tub, and the artwork of Spiced Ink in every room.
