Property Buyouts
Property buyouts of all 6 suites at the Desert Compass are available for dates beginning June, 2021.
We accept a limited number of property buyouts and events each month, so please inquire as soon as possible to secure your desired dates.
What do you get with a property buyout?
Full run of the entire 6 suite property, with overnight space for up to 25 guests. Our property accommodates 18 guests in beds, and up to 25 including daybeds and sofa beds. For more details, view our suites.
Access to the property for your event or gathering, for up to 50 guests total (including overnight guests). Our property is designed for intimate outdoor gatherings, and unfortunately we cannot accommodate groups over 50 people.
Rules and details
A 2 night minimum stay is required for all property buyouts.
A 50% deposit and signed contract are required at the time of booking for all property buyouts. Deposits are non-refundable, but come with our COVID guarantee that if your event is cancelled due to COVID, you will receive a full refund so long as your reservation is cancelled at least 60 days in advance.
Our property is designed for intimate gatherings, and events over 50 guests are not allowed at The Desert Compass.
The Desert Compass has gathering space for outdoor events only. Our suites are designed to accommodate 2-6 guests each, and cannot host larger groups indoors. We cannot make any guarantees or be held responsible for inclement weather, and we recommend that guests make plans in case of rain or other inclement weather.
All tables, decor, food, beverages, and entertainment are to be provided by the guest. The Desert Compass is a vacation rental property, and we provide access to the property only. We are not an event planning service, but do partner with many vendors who can assist in planning and executing your event. We are happy to make recommendations and suggestions, but cannot make any guarantees or be held responsible in any way for the outcome of events on the property.
The Desert Compass provides 9 on-site parking spaces for guests. Paid and free parking is typically readily available on the street and in the Old Town parking lot, but we cannot make any guarantees about additional public parking. Accommodating parking needs for events held at the property is the responsibility of the guest, and may not disturb the neighbors. We suggest asking guests to carpool when possible!
We respect our neighbors in historic Old Town, and as such do not allow loud music or excessive noise. No speakers, amplifiers, or audio equipment is allowed on the property. Only acoustic music is permitted, and quiet hours are enforced between 10PM and 9AM.
Guests must agree to follow all rules and regulations in the contract. Exterior security cameras are on site, and all rules will be enforced in order to maintain the peaceful enjoyment of our neighbors. Any fines or citations are the full responsibility of the guest.
