Our property features lush gardens, historic pueblo style adobe architecture, a modern desert backdrop, and a blank canvas where you can design and host a memorable elopement or micro-wedding that is as unique as you are.
At The Desert Compass, we invite you to create your own traditions, with an intentional and authentic experience that is uniquely yours - celebrating love and experiencing a memorable day with a few of your closest friends and family.
For couples searching for a beautiful and unique space to hold a simple elopement ceremony , we offer several affordable elopement options at our Coyote Suite, for elopements and micro-weddings of 10 or fewer people.*

The Coyote Suite
The Coyote Suite our the most private and luxurious space at The Desert Compass property. Here we can host small, intimate elopements or micro-weddings of 10 or fewer people (including the couple and officant).
Surrounded by a 6 foot adobe privacy wall, our “honeymoon suite” features a private yard filled with grass, rivercane, and an adobe wall backdrop for your ceremony.
It also boasts a private twinkle light patio, four poster King bed, full kitchen, living room, dining area, and a large soaking tub that can fit two.
A 2 night minimum reservation plus one of our elopement package options reserves the private outdoor space for your elopement ceremony, as well as the Coyote Suite, for a romantic honeymoon stay for two.

A romantic 2 night stay in the private Coyote Suite, plus access to our main property including: gardens, lounge areas, outdoor games, fire pit, cowboy pool (May - September), and hot tub (open year round).
* To maintain the peaceful enjoyment of the property for all guests, prior written permission and coordination with our manager is required for any and all outside vendors.
* Tax and event insurance policy not included in price.
Location
Right across from historic Old Town Albuquerque, you and your closest friends and family will be steps from the best tourist sites in town. Historic tourist sites, food, shopping, museums, and entertainment are just steps away.
There are many great restaurants within walking distance to host your rehearsal dinner, wedding party brunch, or other events.
Just across the street is the lush Tiguex park and the charming adobe architecture of Old Town Albuquerque. The newly developed Sawmill District is just a few minute walk, home to a beautifully designed modern food court, rooftop bar, and upscale shopping experiences.
